The Ortho Offload is a high quality, economical option following injury or surgey where specific protection of the toes is required. Featuring a soft velvet inner lining, a wide to section to accomodate dressings and a hard, rigid wedged sole for comfort and stabilty.

The DARCO OrthoWedge™ is clinically proven to reduce weight bearing pressure on the forefoot which promotes faster healing after surgery, trauma or when forefoot wounds or ulcerations are present.
- 15o Wedge Sole effectively shifts body weight to the midfoot and heel. Reduces forefoot pressure by as much as 57%!
- Square Toe Design acts as a bumper to protect the toes when k-wires are present and provides better Left/Right fit.
- Ankle Strap seats foot firmly in shoe to reduce heel slippage and eliminate friction.
- Removable Forefoot Closure provides security while eliminating buckle pressure.
- Zoned Outsole has an aggressive tread under the mid-foot where traction is needed most.
- Removable Insole features twice the padding of standard insoles and can be modified as needed.

The Post Op Forefoot Offloading shoe is a fully lined light-weight shoe designed to offload the forefoot using a rigid EVA sole that can be modified in many different ways. The durable nylon upper, firm heel counter and anterior and posterior ankle and midfoot velcro fasteners make this shoe adjustable enough to fit any foot.
The 8º forefoot wedge rolloff can be modified and soft 8mm thick EVA insole can be removed for easy replacement with a custom orthotic footbed, or an aperture can simply be added to offload the ulcer site. The shoe has a protective toe guard to prevent the foot from slipping distally and protection from minor scuffing.

- Plantar forefoot ulceration
- Metatarsal and other forefoot fractures
- Following forefoot surgery such as bunionectomies, hammertoe procedures and Morton's Neuroma excision.

We deliver to all Australian States. Orders received by 1pm are generally shipped the same day.
Our freight charge is $10.00 + GST. Orders over $500.00 ex GST are delivered freight free.
Equipment - chairs, cabinets, grinders etc plus bulky orthotic materials will attract a larger freight charge.
This charge is calculated at our carriers rates. We are happy to do a quote if required.

Melbourne and major NSW, VIC & SEQ centres - 2 days
Adelaide and other country centres - 3 days
Perth, Tasmania - 5 to 7 days
We can ship overnight satchels to most major centres but the weight and/or cubic limit is 5kg.
Equipment and large multiple cartons/packages or pallets may take an extra day.
Dangerous Goods such as phenol, glues, alcohol based disinfectants etc attract a DG surcharge from our carriers and must also only be shipped via road. These items must also be packaged separately and may arrive separately from other items on your order and may also take an extra day or 2 to arrive.
